A little care goes a long way. These simple habits protect flavour, extend battery life and keep your device safe.

Keep it cool and out of the light

Heat and sunlight can break down e-liquid and degrade flavour. Store your device and bottles in a cool, dark place, away from windows and never in a hot car.

Store devices upright

Keeping a pod or cartridge upright helps prevent leaks and keeps the mouthpiece clean.

Charge safely

  • Use the cable that came with your device, such as our USB-C Charging Cable.
  • Do not leave a device charging overnight or unattended.
  • Stop using any device with a swollen or damaged battery.

Protect it on the go

A hard case keeps your device, spare pods and cable together and protects the battery from impact. Our VIP Travel Case is made for exactly this.

Keep out of reach

Store all vape products and e-liquids securely, away from children and pets. These products are for adults aged 21 and over.

Travelling with your device

Pack your device and any spare pods in a hard case so the battery cannot be pressed or the mouthpiece crushed. Keep it in your hand luggage, not the hold. Rules for CBD and vape products vary by airline, carrier and destination, so check them before you go.

Looking after pods and cartridges

  • Replace a pod if it tastes burnt or you see leaks.
  • Wipe the mouthpiece and contacts with a dry cloth.
  • Do not refill a pod with a different type of liquid unless the maker says it is safe.

E-liquid bottles

Screw the cap on firmly after each use, keep the bottle upright and store it out of light and away from heat. Properly stored, a sealed bottle keeps its flavour for much longer. Check the label for any recommended use-by date.

When to replace a device

Stop using a device that overheats, smells odd or has a swollen or dented battery, and dispose of it responsibly at an electronics recycling point. Our returns page explains what to do if a new device is faulty.

Frequently asked questions

Can I leave my device in the car?

It is best not to. Heat can damage the battery and the liquid.

How long does a charge last?

It depends on the device and how often you use it. Check the product page for battery details.
